“High Quality Knowledge Without Distraction.”

The WKB (Web Knowledge Book) is an interactive digital book, conceived, designed and created to serve both the academic and professional worlds. It is the ideal tool for teaching and self-study, without distractions, especially in scientific and technical disciplines. It can contain texts with complex mathematical formulas, advanced interactive graphics, embedded applications, animations, audio and video. Practically everything that web technology can offer without any limitations. Together with the Tanit platform, on which it runs, the WKB introduces a new methodology for knowledge management by creating dynamic and complete ecosystems, specialized in solving certain types of complex problems, which otherwise, over time, would become chaotic and unmanageable. Thus, by creating bilateral systems(1), the phenomenon of gigantism is put an end.

The WKB, in many respects, corresponds to the W3C Packaged Web Publications (PWP) specifications, but with one major difference. That is, while the W3C committee is still at the specification stage and it takes years to show something actually working, the WKB has already been created, works very well, and you can already test it and start producing it.

1: An ecosystem based on Tanit/WKB technology is typically composed of a local component, with content that tends to converge until it stabilizes, and an external component with content that tends to diverge and continually grow. The first component is private, while the second is public. However, the two components communicate because the first is fed by the second, but selectively. The community project SciBac, which will launch in the next few days, works this way.
